In my opinion definitely integration hurt black communities the proof is look at our neighborhood today no social economic growth and I neighborhoods are deteriorating fast other nationalities are establishing businesses in our communities and we have none.

We need to come up with Solutions on rebuilding not only our neighborhoods we also need to start on building strong Economic Unity!

Family I ran across this post and I just like to share this with you if have the time give me your comment on this blog.

I was born with the sand of the Namib Desert between my toes and grew up in Upington, where the mighty Orange River flows a stone's throw away from the town centre.

I remember as a teenager how excited my cousins and I would get when our neighbours across the street had family visiting. The reason for our enthusiasm would often be because the visitors

    • Did You Know that “Negro History Week”was the Root of “Black History Month”?
      The Wiser

The month of February is considered “Black History Month” across the United States. But it had a much earlier predecessor called “Negro History Week”. This recognition was the brainchild of an African-American historian, Dr. Carter G. Woodson. He is considered by many to be the “Father of Black History.”

Carter Godwin Woodson was born on December 19, 1875 in New Canton, VA. He was the fourth of seven children.

I am not colored, Negro, Afro-American, African-American, nor any other identifying appellation or abstract term historically imposed upon me.

Nor are people that look like me. Black people in the U.S. are “New Afrikans,” and I’m going to tell you why.

    • Race in Ancient Egypt: Black Pharaohs?

Race in Ancient Egypt is one of the most polarized ongoing historical debates. But very few give the discussion a progressive treatment. And any treatment of this contentious discussion must discuss contemporary politics, sociology and historical reality thosands of years ago without contaminating it with our 21st century politics.

      The Wiser
Literal slavery is a horrible practice that still persists into the modern age. But, I want to talk about another form of human exploitation–employment slavery, which can also ruin a person’s life. Generally, I consider this a self-inflicted slavery because it’s ultimately a person’s choice to work under such conditions—but I also understand that brainwashing can occur, creating the illusion that there’s no way out.

Slavery (in general) exists because of the inclination

“The ‘N’ word and why we as a race of people must stop using it”

This is being written today because I am completely disgusted and disappointed at the level of idiocy among many of our people; those who continually try to rationalize and justify the use of the ‘N’ word. There is no justifiable reason for our continued use of this degrading and despicable word; a word created by our mortal enemies used to degrade, de-humanize,
