  • Our discomforts with ourselves.

"Black people in America have an identity problem. We feel the closer we are to white, the more privileges we will enjoy. We want to move where white people live. When Black people get amongst white people, we want to degrade and talk about our own race. We copy our lifestyles after white people. We don't scrutinize them like they do us. We want to imitate our oppressors and intimidator too much: rather than get to the issues at hand, so we become a more civilized and substandial people, not only to survive but to succeed."

Excellent quote, however there is a word for this 'condition'--- more accurately, a phrase. We all know what it is, but where the work comes in, is in how many actually seek to implement it?

We'd better get smart and get smart real quick....or otherwise.....he will continue to reap the residuals of our 'overt inaction'.

    My 2cents.
