“African spirituality” emerging as a new pseudo denomination ultimately an extension of Eurocentric exoticifcation of Africa. We see the loose generalization...

Africa’s History did not start with Slavery

It takes more than a horrifying transatlantic voyage chained in the filthy hold of a slave ship to erase someone’s culture–Maya Angelou

On sky maps, Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer is depicted as holding Serpens the Serpent, which is considered a separate constellation. According to ancient Greek star lore, Ophiuchus is Asclepius, the physician who concocted a healing potion from the Serpent’s venom, mixing it with the Gorgon’s blood and an unknown herb. This potion gave humans access to immortality, until the god of the underworld appealed to Zeus to reconsider the ramifications of the death of death.

"Ophiuchus lies directly 180 degrees Opposite from Orion Dog Star (Ausar/Osiris) constellation Taurus"

"Imhotep (African-Kemetic) the Father of Medicine infinitum, was a priest of ANU or Heliopolis and was also considered the 'son of Ptah the primal; creator who was studied in Memphis or Mennufer"

At this time, our attention on Ophiuchus the thirteenth zodiac sign, the 13th constellation along the ecliptic, the path of the sun and its planets. Ophiuchus is known in the West as the Serpent Bearer. In some communities (Africa), he is considered to be Imhotep, Wonderful Healer from Kemet (Ancient Egypt).

Ophiuchus (Imhotep) stands between Scorpio and Sagittarius in our sky.

Ophiuchus The Serpent Holder is a three-part constellation patiently waiting 4 somebody to notice him space-walking on the plane of the ecliptic, known to astrologers as "the belt of the zodiac."

"Unfortunately, this constellation's relevance to astrology has not yet been officially proclaimed and astronomers are complaining bitterly about it. Not having studied the roots of astrology, they do not realize that the zodiac signs are not intended to represent the constellations of the zodiac, but are merely divisions of the heavens that take their names from the brighter constellations that appear to be in the general vicinity.

Astrologers have not included Ophiuchus in the wheel of Astrological signs because the Sun spends only about nineteen days in this 13th sign of the Mazzaroth. Not that there wasn't a 13th sign in the Heavens, but as far as Astrologers were concerned, the Sun traveled from the constellation 'Scorpius' and then proceeded directly into the sign of Sagittarius.

The signs of the Zodiac are 4 the most part, the highway, or path on which the Sun takes it's yearly journey across the heavens - as it would appear to Earthlings

The constellation of Ophiuchus is the only sign of the Zodiac which is linked to a real man.

This man lived in ancient Egypt around the 27th century BCE, and his name was Imhotep

NOTE: Imhotep can also be found as the Biblical Hebrew man Joseph, son of Jacob

Imhotep is credited with many accomplishments including the knowledge and use of medicine. It is said of Imhotep that he brought the art of healing to mankind. The symbol of a serpent [or snake], which is still widely used today to represent the medical profession, was used to represent Imhotep. Imhotep was disguised and credited as 'Aesclepius' to the ancient Greeks, but by any name the attributes are still all the same. The attributes listed below describe the Serpent Holder, Imhotep, i.e. the Hebrew Joseph, and Aesclepius.
