    Stomach ulcers, also known as peptic ulcers, are painful. It is only those suffering from this condition can figure out its intensity and know what they go through. When the problem is in the initial stage it might not be too painful but as the ulcer starts growing, the pain aggravates further.

    Taking care of the food that we eat and the diet is very important in order to prevent stomach ulcer. So today in this article we will be explaining about a few of the diet tips for stomach ulcer patients - like the foods that one needs to eat and the foods that one needs to avoid if one is suffering from stomach ulcer.

    Stomach ulcer is mainly caused by a bacteria known as H. pylori. Excessive usage of painkillers could be yet another cause. Those who eat a lot of spicy foods, smoke and drink excessively are at a high risk of developing stomach ulcer.

    Stomach pain, loss of appetite, weight loss, bloating of stomach accompanied by heartburn are a few of the symptoms of stomach ulcer. One needs to take care of it as soon as possible, as if left untreated it can lead to serious health issues like stomach cancer.
